Broadway Camp Workshop Ages 5-7 Daily Audition Workshop $125/day One Day: Friday 6/6 9:00am-3:00pm Venue: Athenaeum Center Address: 2936 N Southport Chicago, IL 60657 Skyline’s Audition Workshop for ages 5-7 at the Athenaeum Center in Lakeview will provide eager young actors with an introduction to the Skyline Broadway Summer Camp experience. Actors will spend the day getting to know the Broadway Camp routine: singing, acting, and dancing in the morning; crafts, games, and review in the afternoon; and, of course, a trip to the park for lunch and recess. Skyline offers the Audition Workshop as an optional resource for new actors to see what is expected on the first day at camp, for ambitious actors seeking to prepare for auditions and preview audition materials for each show, and for returning actors who can’t wait for camp to have an extra day of fun with friends! Broadway campers will meet Skyline’s Teaching Artist Team, get to know the Broadway Camp routine, work together to learn several songs and dances, and receive private coaching in small groups to prepare for their audition. Actors’ camp levels and titles that they are enrolled for will determine groupings. Summer 2025 Broadway Camp Titles: Lion King, High School Musical, Annie, Addams Family, Finding Nemo & Disney's Dare to Dream Juniors Ages 5-7, One Week Sessions: All Titles except Addams Family Highlights Ages 8-12, One Week Sessions: All Titles except Finding Nemo Stars Ages 9-13, Two Week Sessions: All Titles except Finding Nemo Performers Ages 10-14, Three Week Sessions: Addams Family only Please note, participation does not guarantee being cast in a certain role. Auditioning is a skill, just like singing, acting, or dancing. The purpose of this workshop is to learn what to expect, how to make a great first impression, and how to put your best foot forward at auditions. This is a low-pressure day to feel more comfortable with the Broadway Summer Camp setting and there will not be a performance. We are so excited to meet our actors, give them a sneak peek behind the curtain, and help them feel confident at Broadway Summer Camp!
